At Bonjour Tutors, we understand that schedules can change!
To keep things fair and consistent for all families while maintaining progress for every student, here’s how our cancellation and make-up system works.
Cancelling a Session
You can cancel a session directly from your TutorBird Parent Portal:
Log in to your account.
Go to Upcoming Sessions.
Select the session you wish to cancel and follow the prompts.
Alternatively, you may email us at [email protected].
Our team will confirm your cancellation and copy your tutor on the email.
Cancellation Window
Sessions cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time will not be billed.
Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours before the start time will be billed and automatically converted into a make-up credit.
Make-Up Credits
Each billed cancellation within the 24-hour window creates a make-up credit automatically in your TutorBird account.
You can hold up to three (3) active make-up credits at a time.
Make-up credits must be used before cancelling the service to avoid losing them.
Make-up sessions are meant for additional sessions, not to replace your regular weekly one.
To schedule a make-up, please contact your tutor directly to find a time that works for both of you.
No-Shows
If a student does not attend a session without prior notice, it will be marked as a no-show.
No-show sessions are billed at the regular session rate and do not generate a make-up credit.
Emergencies or Special Situations
We know unexpected things can happen!
