Learn what to expect during your child’s first lesson and how tutoring is structured.

Updated over a month ago

1. Enrolment and Scheduling

To begin, parents submit the enrolment form on our website.

A member of our team will contact you for a short call to:

  • Confirm student details

  • Discuss scheduling availability

  • Answer any remaining questions

  • Schedule the first lesson

The first lesson is a paid session and includes a structured assessment.

2. During the First Lesson

The first lesson is one hour in length and includes:

  • A structured evaluation of the student’s current level

  • Identification of strengths and learning gaps

  • Initial instructional guidance

The tutor will begin building familiarity with the student’s needs while establishing a clear academic baseline.

3. After the First Lesson

Following the first lesson:

  • Tutoring continues on a weekly, auto-renewing schedule

  • The agreed weekly time is reserved

  • Progress is monitored through structured updates

Parents are responsible for attending scheduled lessons or providing cancellation notice in accordance with our policies.

4. Tutor Continuity

Students are typically assigned a tutor for ongoing weekly instruction.

If scheduling adjustments are required and the current tutor cannot accommodate the new time, the student may be reassigned to another qualified tutor in order to maintain schedule continuity.

Tutor reassignment may also occur when operationally necessary.
