  • During our initial conversation with you, we'll ask if there’s anything in particular that you’d like our tutor to focus on when they’re teaching your child.

  • We’ll also ask whether you have any preferences in regards to the tutor. For example, you may prefer a female over a male tutor, or a person with a certain teaching style and personality.

  • We’ll take your feedback into consideration when matching your child with the right tutor.

  • You can request a specific tutor.

  • You can share any preferences you have regarding teaching style, gender, or personality, and we’ll match your child accordingly.

Yes, your child will keep the same tutor weekly unless a change you request a change.

Can I communicate with the tutor directly?

Yes, you can communicate with tutors and/or our Bonjour Tutors staff via email.

Can I hire my tutor directly?

  • No, all tutoring must go through Bonjour Tutors.

  • Directly hiring or soliciting a tutor violates our terms and could lead to legal action.

Do tutors work with the school or teachers?

  • Yes, our tutors can work with the school or teachers with your permission.

  • Our tutors can reach out to the student’s teachers to increase communication and understand the class’s requirements.

  • Often the teachers can provide insight into the child’s learning challenges or areas where they can get ahead of the class. We aim to work collectively with the teachers to ensure consistent developmental and learning growth for your child.

What happens if the tutor isn’t a good fit?
